New Warrior Code

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
Amendment 1.1 - You may not take a mate from another clan as you may one day meet them in battle.
Amendment 1.2 - Kits born of half-clan blood will always go to their mother's clan. They are to be treated as much a part of their mother’s clan as she is or was.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their
warrior name.
Amendment 6.1 - In their first major battle, newly appointed warriors must aid the medicine cat in healing the wounded.
Amendment 6.2 - Before receiving their warrior name, an apprentice must make a pilgrimage to the Moonpool.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
Amendment 7.1 - At least two requirements must be met including the one stated above: Have proved themselves to be an effective leader, Be at least 48 moons of age, Participate in at least one major battle.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen
before moonhigh.

10. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
Amendment 13.1 - A Warrior Code abiding leader, being necessary for the preservation of the Clans, under pretense of violating the Warrior Code, the warriors of a clan may remove a leader by a two thirds majority at a Gathering.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

New Medicine Cat Code

1. A medicine cat may fall in love and take a mate, but only if they swear not to reject their duties for amorous pursuits.
2. A female medicine cat may have kits as long as there is an adequate substitute to fill in their duties that has had six or more moons of training. A male medicine cat may have kits at any time as long as they swear not to neglect their duties.
3. A medicine cat may only retire when their apprentice is ready to take their place.
4. A medicine cat shares dreams with only StarClan.
5. A medicine cat may only discuss dreams, prophecies, etc. with their leader or other medicine cats at the monthly meeting; dreams of an otherwise prophetic nature should not be disclosed to any outside parties, or any other cats in the Clan.
