Personality:
Duskstar is a very intricate and complicated cat. For one thing, he is extremely creative and a great problem solver, allowing him to help in almost any conflict that arises. Although he is pretty argumentative, always wanting to be in the right, allowing his stubbornness to show. Besides always wanting to be right, he's fairly flexible and will admit defeat upon receiving adequate evidence on why he is wrong. Consistently adaptable, he's quick on his toes and can convince a hedgehog to fly. 

Another good thing about Duskstar is that he's open-minded. He's direct with his opinions, but his opinions are easily influenced by others (usually cats he trusts) persuasion. Albeit a good listener, he can get impatient with things that do not interest him. Along with this, things or cats or events that do not interest or are important to him, he often 'throws' it away in his mind, essentially forgetting it. Duskstar strives for excellence (or as some would put it; perfection) but can easily expect too much of himself, often berating himself for not living up to his unrealistic standards. 

Although an adult, Duskstar still has a part of himself that is kit-like, which comes out in the form of adventurousness. He loves to explore new areas, and even areas he knows already, just to see what has changed. Because of this, he knows pretty much the exact layout of both Duskclan's and Dawnclan's territory, as he staked them out almost all by himself. He chose the Duskclan camp for it's capabilities as a protected base, not needing much fortification to guard it. Through observations, he has found that where they are now is in fact an Ancient Clan camp, as is Dawnclan's camp, and the two others in their respective territories. 
History:
Kithood:
Duskstar was born as Dusk to father Bear and mother Adder, along with two brothers named (at the time) Sun and Night. There was also a stillborn she-kit, who was named Moon. Dusk, as him and his siblings matured, became the 'leader' of the siblings' games, helping him to gain his more leader-like traits.  They grew up on stories about the Ancient Clans, which caused Dusk to crave leadership over more cats than just his siblings at a young age. Something else Dusk developed at a young age was his argumentativeness.
Apprenticehood: 
In the time between Dusk being 6-12 moons, his family traveled around, and picked up more bits and pieces of the old clans. The warrior and medicine cat code was beginning to be reformed in the mind of this tom. Even at this age, he was making mental notes on how the warrior/medicine cat codes could be improved. Night and Sun both agreed with their brother's ideals, but were not as into the whole 'reforming' the clans thing. Bear and Adder supported their offspring throughout all their ideas, even if one or both didn't agree with it. Though he did not realize it until he received his nine lives, Starclan had been sending him dreams; dreams of possible futures and ways to reach them. Now, just like any other warrior of Duskclan, he is a true believer.
Adulthood:
From when he reached adulthood (12 moons), and on, Duskstar's goal has been to recreate the clans even better than they were before. He was 32 moons when his dream finally came true, he was finally a leader of a clan, and not just any clan, a clan named after himself; Duskclan. He also helped to make the amendments, changes, and additions to the code, adding what he thought was right to add into it. Night and Sun joined and became warriors alongside their brother, earning the names Sunstorm and Nightsky. Even Duskstar's parents joined, though as they were too old to become warriors, they now reside in Duskclan as elders; ever proud of their sons.
